Tessa is a corporate and business lawyer. Having qualified at Rosenblatt Solicitors, Tessa became a partner there and the head of the corporate department at Rosenblatt for three years, where she developed a renewables practice and started the Japan desk.

In 2010, she left to set up her own practice, newlawslegal.

In 2018, newlawslegal merged with Acuity Law and Tessa is now a partner in the London office.

Tessa has a strong track record in advising solar developers in the UK and the teams behind creative businesses. She has served on a couple of AIM listed company boards and was a member of the Quoted Companies Alliance for many years.

  • Advising a Cyprus based landowner on his fundraising with a private equity house to jointly developing Cyprus’ first wind farm; introducing the funder to the developer
  • Advising the management team of Lion Television in its sale to All3Media – one of the first independent tv production company exits
