Jennifer specialises in a wide range of complex property litigation work including regularly advising landlords and tenants (individual, corporate and public bodies) in relation to properties including retail, office, industrial, residential and mixed-use premises.

She also advises property developers in relation to disputes surrounding their freehold land and has experience of advising banking clients in relation to management of property portfolios and property disputes which arise through the administration of estates.

  • Representing a public body against a local community which had sought registration of land owned by the public body as a Town or Village Green, involving a 5 day public inquiry.
  • Acting for a leading high street bank in defence of an adverse possession claim made by several parties for the freehold and leasehold title to a property valued in excess of £2 million, culminating in a 4 day hearing at the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).
  • Leading an Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) case on behalf of a Government Body involving a dispute around flood alleviation scheme works, including advocacy for the client at the Tribunal final hearing.
  • Providing complex advice to a private rail service provider in relation to its obligations under an ORR regulated lease.
